photographers Picture Hello, I'm Anthony.

Now this may not be a great way to start an introduction about my passion in Photography, but there was a time when I had no interest in this Art. The obvious reason being that I never owned a Camera. Sure I would come across photographers who would take some amazing pictures on their film cameras, and this was obviously before digital was ever a concept. Then as the years went by, I was finally able to buy my first amazing 3 megapixel Canon digital point-and-shoot. My first few pictures were not great. Some were blurry, some were grainy, the colors were off, and the lightning looked fake. I wasn't happy with the pictures I took, and I wanted to know why? What was I doing wrong, or not doing. The Camera I purchased had tons of features, but I had no idea how to use those features.

Then one fine day, I decided to open up the Cameras Manual, and doing that opened up a whole new world of incredible picture taking. By not having the camera in its "Auto" mode, I learned to take control of the Camera and in doing so, I learned how to take better pictures than ever before. I learned about the Aperture, and the Shutter Speed. The Exposure and Composition, and tons of other things about my Camera, and almost immediately I was taking better pictures.

Ever since then, I've been passionate about photography. Critiquing my own pictures led me to open up my Cameras manual and learn my Camera, which in turn has led me to take better pictures. Today I own a more feature-rich camera. I am no longer restricted to a single fixed lens, but my SLR camera gives me the option of using an array of fancy lenses. My camera takes me within the depths of a flower to the very small, or expands to encompass a whole skyscraper within a single frame. I can freeze-capture a jet fighter in mid flight at a speed of 1/3000th of a second, or leave the shutter open to capture a dancer in motion. A whole new world was waiting to be discovered.

Memories are created and remembered, and a photograph reminds you and lets you relive that moment. From the smile on your child's face, to an expression of love on the Newlyweds. The pictures I take, have to be as perfect and as flawless as the moments that left you breathless.

What makes me different from other Photographers?

An amateur photographer will simply take a picture and hand you that picture in a printed or digital format. However I do not work like that. My camera gives me the ability to take pictures in an un-processed "RAW" file format. Simply put this RAW file format is a digital negative which is the equivalant of a "Negative" in film photograpy. The advantage of taking a picture in this format, gives me the ability to later, if needed make further adjustments to improve the quality of the picture. I can adjust the exposure, the contrast, the white balance and make tons of other improvements without degrading the quality of the image, in-fact making it better. It would be so simple to just take a picture and hand you that picture. However I take the time and effort to thoroughly preview every single picture, and make any adjustments if necessary before I hand you the picture.

Coupled with my undeniable passion and dedication to this art, I will ensure every picture I give you, meets the requirements of what a perfectly composed, and perfectly exposed Photograph should be.
